Sanofi has inaugurated its new Evolutive Vaccine Facility (EVF) which has the potential to produce up to four vaccines simultaneously. Switching from manufacturing one vaccine to another is also possible in a matter of just 12 days with the new vaccine facility.

Paris/France – On April 20, Sanofi launched its new Evolutive Vaccine Facility (EVF) in Singapore. Claimed to be the future of vaccine manufacturing, the new and fully digitalized facility will enable the company to achieve flexible manufacturing across multiple vaccine and biological platforms. Up to four vaccines can be produced simultaneously on the EVF production site, thus helping the market to obtain faster access to more vaccines and treatments.
Also, switching from manufacturing one vaccine to another can be carried out easily at the new EVF in just about 12 days. Another significant feature of this new facility is that green energy via solar panels on the roof will be used to power the site. Sanofi is also developing another EVF in France.
