Doha/Qatar – On March 4, 2026, Qatar Energy declared force majeure to its buyers due to military attacks on its operating facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City and Mesaieed Industrial City in the State of Qatar. Following the attacks on March 2, Qatar Energy announced that it had ceased production of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and associated products as well as some downstream products including urea, polymers, methanol, aluminum and other products.
