On May 4th, 2023, TotalEnergies Raffinerie Mitteldeutschland GmbH and EDL Anlagenbau Gesellschaft mbH signed a contract for the execution of planning and construction services for a large-scale project in the POX methanol plant at the Leuna Refinery worth a two-digit million amount.

Within the scope of the project, EDL has been rendering engineering services for some time. The implementation has been partly running parallel to these services. The aim of the work is to modernize important parts of the POX methanol plant in a complex way. With this project, EDL accompanies and supports TotalEnergies Refinery Mitteldeutschland GmbH in its transformation process.
