Universalpack has announced Pharma UP, a new two-day event focusing on pharmaceutical packaging. Taking place in September 2025, the event will bring together industry professionals to discuss innovation, regulatory developments, and future market trends.

Pharmaceutical packaging specialist Universalpack has announced Pharma UP, a two-day industry event taking place in September 2025. The event aims to bring together professionals from the pharmaceutical, para-pharmaceutical, and nutraceutical sectors to discuss innovation, regulatory developments, and future market trends.

Pharma UP will begin with an open house at Universalpack’s headquarters in San Giovanni in Marignano on 18 September from 15:00 and continue on 19 September from 15:30. The main conference programme will be held at the Marco Simoncelli motorcycle circuit in Misano Adriatico on 19 September, featuring keynote speeches, networking opportunities, and discussions on current industry challenges.

The agenda includes sessions on the upcoming European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and its implications for the pharmaceutical sector, as well as panels on sustainability, cybersecurity, digitalisation, and artificial intelligence. Market trends and technological innovations in pharmaceutical packaging will also be explored.

Pharma UP is supported by several partners, including Rockwell Automation (industrial automation), Sacchital (laminate solutions), and Videojet (laser printing technologies). The event will be moderated by radio host and journalist Chicco Giuliani.
