India – Petrofac has received a letter of award from Vedanta for its Raageshwari Deep Gas Field Development Project located in Barmer, Rajasthan, India. The lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project, valued at approximately 233 million dollars, is for integrated gas surface facilities and includes pre-commissioning and commissioning. Under the terms of the 23-month contract, the scope of work includes well pads, flowlines and a new gas processing terminal.

Last month, the leading service providers to the oil and gas industry also won two EPC contacts from India. The first included a contract from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation for its Visakh Refinery Modernisation Project in Andhra Pradesh for approximately 200 million dollars. The latter one comprised a 135 million dollar deal with Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) for its Kochi Refinery in Kerala.
