Helsinki/Finland — The company announced that the production capacity will be expanded to ensure their ability to address the growing need for sodium hydroxide in Finland. The investment continues the previously announced investments in Joutseno site.
The expanded plant is expected to be operational during the fourth quarter of 2018. Joutseno chlor-alkali site produces sodium hydroxide, hydrochloric acid, and sodium hypochlorite for pulp and paper and process industries as well as municipal water treatment.
