Change is inevitable and no other region in the world can show this better than the Middle East. With significant investments into clean, sustainable and smart technologies, the region is all set to transform like never before. Some of the countries in the region have even established dedicated policies and undertaken initiatives for accelerating the adoption of these innovations.

Showcasing a positive economic outlook for the region, the World Bank in a press release in October 2025 stated that the latest World Bank economic report on the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan & Pakistan (MENAAP) points to an improved economic outlook for the region, with expected growth reaching 2.8 percent in 2025 and 3.3 percent in 2026. However, global uncertainty, trade policy shifts, and continued conflict and displacement all pose possible risks.
