Emerson’s Approach to EAM: AMS Suite Asset Performance Manager

Emerson’s Enterprise Asset Management system is called AMS Suite Asset Performance Manager. It combines predictive intelligence with asset reliability information and decision support, adding real-time analytics and reporting that enable new levels of insight into asset performance for continuous improvement.

Asset Performance Manager integrates data from the thousands of assets throughout a plant into a single application. This enables users to see not only process variables, but also a wealth of information on equipment health and performance. With this information, unplanned downtime can be avoided and maintenance expenditures kept within budget.

From Raw Data to Increased Profits

Having a huge amount of data at your fingertips is not a recent phenomenon; what is new is the ability to call on real-time asset information from multiple sources to create a holistic view of the plant. With this information, key decision-makers can start to address issues — both those that are immediate and those likely to occur in the future — with a high degree of certainty.
