Market Report IEA Reveals Latest Monthly Gas Statistics Report of OECD Member Countries

One of the key highlights of the report states that the production of natural gas from OECD countries increased by 5.2 % as compared to October 2019. Also, the gross consumption of natural gas increased by 0.5 % in October 2019 on a year-on year basis.

Paris/France – The monthly natural gas statistics by the International Energy Agency (IEA) features natural gas production, consumption, total imports and total exports for all OECD member countries, and natural gas pipeline and LNG trade by origin and destination for all OECD regions.

The latest monthly gas statistics report by the IEA including the November 2019 data shows that for total OECD:

• Production of natural gas increased by 5.2 % compared to October 2019.

• Imports (entries) of natural gas decreased by 4.4 % on a year-on-year basis, and total OECD exports (exits) also decreased by 5.3 % in the same period.

• Gross consumption of natural gas increased by 0.5 % in October 2019 on a year-on year basis.

Transit volumes are included. Trade amounts include intra-regional trade.
