India – On the evening of January 11, there was a huge explosion at an Indian chemical factory in Boisar, Maharashtra. The explosion occurred at Ank Pharma’s under-construction plant and news reports claim that 8 people lost their lives due to the fatal accident.

The incident took place during the testing of some chemicals and the explosion was so loud that it could be heard within a 15-km radius. Post the blast, a fire also began but it was extinguished in time.
