Process Optimization | We get the best out of your pharmaceutical or biotechnolocial production process.
Ensuring optimum product quality, safety and efficiency with Glatt Engineering For optimal pharmaceutical or biotechnological production, precise process calculations and plant designs are just as crucial as process flow considerations and simulations for efficient plant planning.
The same applies to logistical processes, efficient warehousing or questions of technical building equipment (HVAC, utilities) through to the degree of automation – to name but a few. Based on our planning approach, this is our understanding of process optimization.
We see process optimization as the challenge, knowledge of the solutions and possibilities as the necessary know-how and the available tools as aids for preparing and documenting decisions. We use commercially available tools, such as ChemCAD, or software developed in-house for process simulation. This enables us to determine the most efficient plant configurations and process parameters, among other things.
Digitalization in planning will become increasingly important in the future. We use BIM, e.g. REVIT, to record and visualize complex systems and data in a model to a meaningful extent, right up to the digital twin. We do not measure ourselves by the amount of data or the complexity of the model, but by the usability for the specific project requirements and the affordable level of detail. This approach makes digitalization meaningful and tangible and increases the acceptance of its use and further development.
