Conoco Phillips has acquired 140,000 net acres in the liquids-rich Montney acreage from Kelt Exploration. With this deal, the company will add over 1 billion barrels of oil equivalent of high-value resource and over 1,000 high-quality well locations to its existing acreage in the region.

Conoco Phillips will be selling its Australia-West business with operating interests in Darwin LNG, Bayu-Undan, Barossa and Poseidon to Santos. The company will also receive 75 million dollars once the final investment decision has been taken regarding the Barossa development project.
The subsidiaries which indirectly hold Conoco Phillips’ exploration and production assets in the U.K. are being sold to Chrysaor E&P. Conoco Phillips also aims to retain its London-based commercial trading business and its 40.25 % interest in and operatorship of the Teesside oil terminal.
Under the International Chamber of Commerce judgement, Pdvsa has agreed to make initial payments of 500 million dollars within 90 days. The pending amount is expected to be paid on a quarterly basis in the next 4.5 years.
