B.J. Hebert has been selected as Chevron Phillips Chemical Company’s new Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer w.e.f November 1. He will be responsible for the firm’s manufacturing operations and commercial functions.

USA – Chevron Phillips Chemical Company (CP Chem) has recently announced that B.J. Hebert will join the company as executive vice president and chief operating officer, effective November 1. In this newly created role, Hebert will be responsible for the company’s manufacturing operations and commercial functions.
“B.J. is a proven leader who brings to CP Chem deep industry experience and a demonstrated track record of driving safe, reliable operations and business growth,” said Mark Lashier, president and CEO. “His passion for talent development and continuous improvement through innovation will enhance the company’s ability to achieve our vision and be the employer, supplier, neighbor and investment of choice.”
Hebert has 33 years of industry experience and joins CP Chem from Occidental Chemical (Oxy Chem), where he had served as president since 2017. During his tenure with Oxy Chem, he held numerous roles of increasing responsibility including senior vice president, basic chemicals; vice president and general manager, vinyls; and manufacturing director, chemicals. Hebert began his career with Vista Chemicals, where he served in plant and operations engineering roles. He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Mc Neese State University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
