Glinde/Germany — By investing in IIOT-specialist AMI Global, Alfa Laval wants to strengthen their expertise in the industrial Internet of Things. AMI Global, based in Las Vegas (USA), specializes in end-to-end IIOT (industrial Internet of Things) solutions for rotating equipment such as pumps, mixers and motors. The company is part of Cimbria Capital, a private equity firm based in the US and Scandinavia. The investment is part of Alfa Laval's digital transformation aimed at offering remote monitoring of its many proprietary products and solutions. The broad-based digitization of industrial equipment allows for meaningful data analysis that creates value for customers and end users.
