Transfer line coupling


Like the valves, the ducts of a vacuum vessel make a critical connection between the cryogenic temperature and the environment.

The bayonet or Johnston couplings provide a clean, separable transition between a vacuum vessel where the cryogenic media pipelines are installed and a vacuum insulated transfer line which carries the fluid into another vessel.

This separation is required in order to complete and test the production of a complex plant at the producer.

WEKA manufactures a very extensive range of coaxial couplings to meet the various requirements. In addition to the simple transfer line couplings for helium, hydrogen or nitrogen, WEKA offers multiple transfer line couplings as well as the option of installing them horizontally or providing them with high-voltage insulation.
