Cryogenic valves: Needle Valves

WEKA needle valves are made of stainless steel and are used as process valves in a large number of different applications, even in cryogenics.

Valve characteristics

WEKA needle valves are made of stainless steel and have a metallic seal for use in a large number of different applications. The packing, the only non-metallic part in contact with the medium, is typically made of PTFE. Special versions made of other materials with BAM [German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing] test reports for use in oxygen applications can also be realised. Metallically sealing versions (with bellows) are also available.

Nominal diameters: DN4 – DN15 as standard, other sizes on request

Nominal pressures: PN110, PN260, PN420, larger pressures on request


Housing and parts in contact with the medium: 316/316L stainless steel

Packing: PTFE, other sealings for special requirements

Control cone: 316/316L stainless steel


The valves are tested according to standard EN 12266:2012, tests P10, P11 and P12. Special test requirements are also possible upon consultation.


WEKA Inox valves are used in chemical engineering industry, in power plant construction industry for hydraulic or thermal plants, in the petrochemicals industry, in cryogenic processes of air separation units and in the cryogenic or high-pressure process engineering industry for gas cleaning.
