Industrial Valves Turnover Continues to Decline

German manufacturers of industrial valves had to accept a nominal turnover decrease of 9% in 2009. On the domestic market, turnover sank by 13%, while the foreign turnover declined 5% in comparison with 2008. Manufacturers of control valves were particularly affected: compared to the previous year, the overall turnover decreased by 13%. Exportation into the most important importing countries also decreased in part. But the Chinese market will remain one of the most important export markets for German industrial valves.
