With its simple rack assembly, the unit can be used for mobile applications on different filling systems, the manufacturer says. Even sensitive end products can be gently conveyed by using pressurised, Bosch states. The cascade of sterile filters uses specially designed interfaces for online integrity tests and is completely compliant to CIP (Cleaning in Place), SIP (Sterilizing in Place) and DIP (Drying In Place) procedures. All usual medium extraction and injection methods for sterile processes can be applied, Bosch stated. According to the company, the combination of filtration unit and process interface underlines the importance of combined, modular one-step solutions that can be easily integrated into existing sterile processes.
