SPX has added a new modular process technology to its family of mixing and dispersing equipment. The APV Cavitator offers breakthrough benefits for heating liquids without scale build-up. At this year's Anuga FoodTec we had a chance to talk to Christian Kjoelby, Global Technology & Product Manager of SPX Flow Technology, about their new APV Cavitator. It is named for the powerful effects of shockwaves produced from the collapse of „controlled cavitation" bubbles and works by taking a fluid into the machine housing, where it is passed through a controlled cavitation field created by the reactor's spinning rotor.
Watch this webcast to learn more about the APV Cavitator and why this advanced technology is so effective. Christian Kjoelby also talks about SPX's future plans with the APV Cavitator.
