Energy 2013, the flagship international trade show for renewable and conventional power generation, energy supply, transmission, distribution and storage, was part of the HANNOVER MESSE again this year.
The show documents the complete value-adding chain in the energy industry - from generation, supply, transmission and distribution to the transformation and storage of electricity.

The main themes at the international Energy 2013 platform reflect the key issues that currently need to be addressed, namely how to respond to the challenges resulting from the energy transition. Which technologies will be able to increase the efficiency of the generation and supply networks over the long term? Visitors from all of the world’s growth markets who have an interest in these issues come to the event to gather information on the latest technological trends and take on specific projects.

Smart Grids Theme Park:
Users are looking for new Smart Grid, Smart Metering, Smart Building and energy ICT solutions and the products on display at the Theme Park address precisely those needs. The event coverage encompasses the entire energy system value-add chain.
Life Needs Power Energy Forum:
Each year, experts from the power engineering, energy business, scientific and government communities gather at the Life Needs Power Energy Forum to engage in an intensive dialogue and share in-depth information. The list of topics includes all of the major current issues relating to electricity generation, distribution and storage. Grid expansion, intelligent energy supply, the opportunities and risks of renewable energy and much more are the subject of discussion.
