Bad Fallingbostel, Germany – More than 2,000 residents are still waiting to return to their homes, as all housings within 500 meters off the accident site where evacuated. Since the temperature in the vessel is still rising, local emergency response teams stay alarmed: A second vapour cloud could well be emitted. As a preventive measure, a part of the German Autobahn A7 is blocked for traffic. Hundreds of workers now try to dyke in all spills and emissions from the site.
