Sharp Tanks to Build Storage Tanks for Indian LPG Facility

India's national oil company Indian Oil has awarded Sharp Tanks & Structurals with a US $ three million contract to build mounted storage tanks for an LPG bottling plant at Belgaum, Karnataka, India.

Mumbai/India – Indian Oil is currently expanding the capacity of its LPG bottling plant by 2,400 metric tons (from 600 tons) with two additional 1,200 tons tanks. As constructions are already underway, the tanks could be completed by August. Indian Oil is a major petroleum player in the country, accounting for a 47% share in petroleum products, 34.8% share in refining capacity and 67% downstream sector pipelines.
