McDermott Awarded Ethylene Furnace in Indonesia and EPC Contract by BP Trinidad & Tobago
McDermott has been awarded a sizeable technology contract by PT Chandra Asri Perkasa for the detailed engineering of 8 proprietary SRT (Short Residence Time) ethylene cracking heaters at the Chandra Asri Perkasa (CAP2) ethylene plant in Cilegon, Indonesia. The engineering company also announced an EPC contract awarded by BP Trinidad & Tobago of the Cassia Compression Platform. more

Neste Completes PMC Project at Greenfield Fertilizer Plant
Neste Engineering Solutions has completed a PMC project for Socar, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan. The greenfield ammonia-urea fertilizer plant in Sumgayit was inaugurated on January 16, 2019. The start-up of the production plant is now completed and production is in operation. more

Zhejiang Chooses Honeywell for Largest Petrochemicals Project in China
Zhejiang Petrochemical (ZPC) will use a range of process technology from Honeywell UOP for the second phase of an integrated refining and petrochemical complex in Zhoushan, Zhejiang Province. The complex is one of several new large industrial sites that are part of China’s current national economic development plan. more

BASF Plans Largest Investment in India to Date
BASF and Adani Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to evaluate a major joint investment in the acrylics value chain. This would be the German group’s largest investment in India to date. more
