Automation Software Schneider Offers Latest Commercial Applications to Academia

Schneider Electric India has offered automation software to engineering colleges affiliated to Mumbai University to upscale the education standard of courses with latest commercial applications and help the students to enrich SCADA knowledge.

Navi Mumbai/India – The association was facilitated at a platform – Academic Alliance Partnership Event, held at Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering – where Schneider handed over the software kits and branded certificates to five colleges – Bharti Vidyapeeth College of Engineering, Parshvanath College of Engineering, V.E.S.I.T, Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Ramrao Adik College of Engineering. The event was graced by Dr. S.K Ukarande, Honorable Dean – Faculty of Technology, Mumbai University.

While talking to Process India, Pradeep Karnik, Schneider's Business Vice President, said “This initiative is important for academic institutes because students get practical knowledge and hence they become more fundamental and less theoretical, which will help them in future.”

“From industry perspective it is very important that we give industry perspective to academics. This is affiliation is a give and take process between industry and academia,” he added.
