New R 510.1 and R 511.1 series piston diaphragm metering pumps from Seybert & Rahier (sera) deliver 65–1,900 l/h at pressures up to 220 bar. They feature variable eccentric drives, whose linear and precise stroke length setting provides very accurate metering even at large flowrates and high pressures. Harmonic motion at all stroke lengths means significantly less pulsation, lower noise and simpler damping requirements compared to pumps with straight crank slides. A high-quality multi-layer diaphragm guarantees safety even in the event of diaphragm rupture, and enables reliable rupture detection. Additional safety is provided by the fact that the hydraulic section is separate from the drive assembly. An internal compensating valve ensures the optimum amount of hydraulic fluid in the hydraulic chamber and protects against overpressure. API 675 and Atex versions are available.
