St. Louis/USA — Emerson’s project teams use Flexim’s clamp-on, ultrasonic flow metering portfolio in combination with their own in-line flow metering devices in order to reduce engineering, piping and installation costs as well as schedule risk. The manufacturer's non-intrusive flow metering is designed for difficult applications and contributes to reduced engineering, piping and installation costs. With this joint cooperation Emerson intends to improve delivery of the exact flow solution needed by clients. According to a statement published by Emerson, the partnering companies would collaborate to ensure less time is spent on engineering and installation through the selection of the optimal flow solution for a given application by leveraging the most comprehensive flow portfolio available.
“In today’s market, we are seeing that our customers are looking for us to advise them early in their project cycle on technology to ensure streamlined and cost-effective project execution,” said Bret Shanahan, vice president of flow solutions, Emerson Automation Solutions. Guido Schwanekamp, managing director sales and marketing of Flexim added: “Together we will be able to offer fully customised solutions that are tailor made for a wide variety of capital projects aimed at reducing capital expenditures while increasing efficiency for our clients and reducing total cost of ownership at the same time.”
