Natural Gas New 793 Kilometer Pipeline Between China and Myanmar

A recently constructed 793-kilometer gas pipeline between China and Myanmar has just entered operation. The pipeline with a transport capacity of 12 billion cubic meters of gas per year will be followed by a 222 million tons oil pipeline.

Mandalay/Myanmar – Build by India's Punj Lloyd, the new pipeline will be operated by China National Petroleum Corporation in liaison with Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprises. Six further regional companies have invested in the US $ 890 million project.
