USA: Energy Mc Dermott Attends Entergy Texas’ Groundbreaking Ceremony for Power Station
EPCC work on the 993 MW combined-cycle natural gas power plant in Willis, Texas was carried out by Mc Dermott International. On completion, the plant is expected generate nearly 1 GW of reliable and clean electricity.

Texas/USA – Mc Dermott International recently participated in a groundbreaking ceremony with its customer, Entergy Texas on the previously announced Montgomery County Power Station (MCPS). The station is a 993-megawatt combined-cycle natural gas power plant in Willis, Texas. Mc Dermott's scope of work on the project includes engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of a 2x1 combined cycle power station.
When complete, the Montgomery County Power Station will generate nearly one gigawatt of reliable and clean electricity to Entergy Texas customers across southeast Texas.
