Tokyo/Japan — In response to increased environmental awareness in China, Hubei Harvin aims to reduce environmental risks by converting its raw material for fertilizer from Solid Sulphur to Molten Sulphur.
Marubeni has been selling Molten Sulphur for more than 40 years, supplying it to customers in Chinese coastal areas. Although it has been difficult to supply Molten Sulphur to inland areas due to logistical restrictions, the company will utilize its Group Company, Jiangsu Zhenyu Chemical as a logistical hub, and reinforce its own transportation functions, in order to actually begin supplying inland China areas with Molten Sulphur. The company announced that it would increase its supply of Molten Sulphur to customers in inland areas along the Yangtze River and also contributed to safeguarding the environment, and to the development of the agriculture and chemical industries in China.
