Thermal Power Plant Marg to Work on Indian Power Plant

Indian infrastructure and engineering company Marg will work on essential components of a future Indian thermal power plant – a corresponding order for Rs 2375.8 million was recently signed by Bhavnagar Energy.

Gujarat/India – Marg, an Indian infrastructure and engineering company, has won an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) work order valued at Rs 2375.8 million from Bhavnagar Energy (BECL) in Gujarat. The order includes a sea water intake, outfall and circulating water system for the 2X250 MW lignite-based thermal power plant at Padva in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The company’s scope of work includes – laying submarine pipeline of five kilometres in the roughest sea of Gulf of Cambay, critical marine and civil structures, pumping stations, pipelines, substations and transmission lines. The time frame for completion of the project is 24 months.
