Kuwaiti–Indian Co–Operation Kuwait Petroleum Invests in Indian Petrochemical Projects

Kuwait Petroleum (KPC) and Indian Oil and Gas (ONGC) could strengthen their cooperation, working together at two world-scale petro–projects in India. As analysts of 2b1 Consulting report, KPC could invest large sums in the construction of the largest aromatic complex in India.

Mangalore/India – The aromatic complex in Mangalore shall be erected during the expansion of a nearby refinery. In Daheij, an ONGC subsidiary plans a new multi-billion olefins and aromatics facility. Insiders state that KPC plans to acquire substantial shares (about 26 %) in these projects.
