USA: Engineering KBR Wins Pre-Feed Contract for Pacific Coast LNG Project

The project has been awarded by Mexico Pacific to develop a midscale LNG liquefaction project in Puerto Libertad. Feed work on the project is expected to begin from mid-2019.

Texas/USA – KBR has recently announced that it has been awarded a pre Front End Engineering Design (Pre-Feed) contract by Mexico Pacific for a midscale LNG liquefaction project in Puerto Libertad on the Pacific coast of Mexico.

Under the terms of the contract, KBR will provide a Pre-Feed and cost estimate for the project. The company will be performing the work by making use of the Conoco Phillips Optimised Cascade technology, thus leveraging the midscale LNG joint development work previously announced by KBR. Feed work of the project is expected to start mid-2019.
