India: Energy Efficiency KBL Bags ISO 50001: 2011 - Energy Management System certification
Kirloskar Brothers (KBL), the leading global fluid management company, has received an ISO 50001: 2011 – Energy Management System certification for its Dewas facility in Madhya Pradesh.
Dewas/India – Established in 1962, spread across 72 acre of land with a capacity of 4,50,000 pumps per annum, KBL’s Dewas facility manufactures various types of pumps such as surface pumps, monobloc pumps, jet pumps, open-well pumps, db pumps and vacuum pumps that find application in industrial and agriculture sectors. The products manufactured at the plant have tripled the revenues on the decade-on-decade basis.
The Devas facility’s ISO 50001: 2011 – Energy Management System is certified by one of the most credible certification agency – Bureau Veritas, which is a global leader in Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC), delivering high quality services to help clients meet the growing challenges of quality, safety, environmental protection and social responsibility. The Bureau Veritas Certification covers the evaluation and certification of products, systems and services, for all QHSE-SR national and international norms, general and industry-based and even private referentials.
