JSW Wins Energy Efficiency Award JSW Energy wins Gold Shield Award

JSW Energy's Toranagallu-I Thermal Power Station (260 MW) has been awarded the Gold Shield in the category of ‘Performance of Thermal Power Stations’ for the years 2011–2012 & 2012-13. The Toranagallu-II Thermal Power Station (600 MW) was also awarded the Bronze Shield in the category of ‘Performance of Thermal Power Stations’ for the year 2012-13.

New Delhi/India - The award was instituted by the Ministry of Power for recognizing meritorious and outstanding performance in the power sector with effect from 2004-05.The awards for the years 2011-12 & 2012-13 were presented at a function held in New Delhi in the presence of Minister of State for Power, Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia.
