Dallas/USA — In close proximity to several large tire manufacturers, the plant is being built to meet global demand for safer, more energy-efficient tires that have better wet grip properties for motor vehicle roll reduction and higher fuel efficiency.

The engineering company was selected as the EPCM contractor for its application of inherent safety in facility design, safety leadership during field execution and in-depth knowledge of Evonik’s facility standards and requirements. Construction of the plant is targeted for completion in 2018.
