Engineering Project Jacobs Awarded EPCM Contract for Polymer Plant in Belgium

Jacobs Engineering received a contract from Nippon Shokubai Europe for detailed engineering, procurement and construction management services for the expansion of the Superabsorbent Polymer Plant and a new acrylic acid plant at the Nippon Shokubai Europe site in Zwijndrecht (Antwerp), Belgium.

Zwijndrecht/Belgium, Pasadena/USA – The total investment cost (TIC) of the installation is approximately $ 390 million (350 million Euros). The project is scheduled to be mechanically complete in October 2017.
