New Delhi/India - The drilling program was launched through live Telebridge by pressing a button on iPad, setting immediate connections with the rig at the offshore site in Caspian Sea setting into motion the rotary table.

Narendra Modi participated in the Business Forum which saw participation from a high-level forty member delegation from both countries including ONGC Videsh Director (Exploration) Dr Anil Bhandari. This was followed by exchange of MoUs in the area of Energy, Infrastructure, Information Technology and Finance as a strong Indo-Kazakh Partner relationship.

In his address, Modi underlining the significance of technology, mentioned that it is through technology that we have been able to witness the launch of drilling operation at Offshore Caspian Sea.
