The Carbo 520 Optical CO2 sensor from Anton Paar helps to determine the CO2 content of all beverages, independent of whether this is beer, wine, soft drink or fruit juice, with or without pulp. The sensor is easily installed inline and entirely maintenance-free, hygienic and robust. It measures the respective CO2 content based on the spectroscopic approach of Attenuated Total Reflection (ATR), enabling a design without moving mechanical parts, so that wear and tear is no issue.

Using Carbo 520 Optical based on this cutting-edge technology the measurement of the CO2 content is highly selective and not affected by other gases in the sample. These sensor characteristics together with the sensor’s high measurement speed and energy efficiency contribute to a reduction in operating costs and ensure smooth production runs.
