King Cobra peristaltic pumps are ideal for chemical transfer, says vendor Wilden, because they feature a simple, seal-free design that can run dry without damage. They can handle a wide variety of fluids, including abrasive, corrosive, shear-sensitive and viscous product, and their positive-displacement operating principle is well-suited to the dosing applications common in chemical transfer. King Cobra pumps provide up to 9 m of suction lift, while their heavy-duty ductile-iron and stainless-steel construction allows for discharge pressures as high as 15 bar. With hoses in natural rubber, Buna-N, and EPDM, nine pump sizes cover flowrates of 0.10–36 m3/h.
