A new Vibroscreen Flo-Thru low-profile screener from Kason classifies bulk material into three fractions at high rates. According to the manufacturer, it significantly reduces the height needed for installation by using two screening decks and two unbalanced-weight gyratory motors mounted on opposing exterior side walls of the unit, instead of one motor underneath the screening chamber. The design also allows vertical alignment of the top inlet and bottom outlet, so that the smallest fraction falls straight through the screener at high rates. Larger fractions are ejected through spouts at the edges of the coarse upper screen and the fine bottom screen. The Flo-Thru screener is available in diameters of 460–2,135 mm, manufactured to 3-A, FDA, BISSC as well as other sanitary standards, and with hazardous-area options. Quick-release clamps and an optional powered lifter simplify inspection and maintenance.
