Engineering companies and component manufacturers profit from a rising demand for energy in Asia and Africa: Now GEA was able to book orders worth 25 million Euro for its heat exchangers branch.

Duesseldorf/Germany – GEA Group was able to secure orders worth € 25 million for its heat exchangers technology: In Asia, Africa and Central Europe GEA Heat Exchangers was selected for power engineering projects and plant cooling technologies.

““These orders underline the global competitiveness of our segment GEA Heat Exchangers,” commented Juerg Oleas, GEA Group's CEO. “Their global orientation as well as new initiatives in the service area are clearly pay off.”

GEA will supply Air Cooled Condensers for a refinery expansion in the Philippines, as well as a cooling tower for an Indian a coal-fired power plant. In South Africa, the company will design, manufacture and install the feed water heater for a power project, officials confirmed. In addition, a substantial order for cooling tower service has been received from a Western European Power plant.
