Approval by independent German test house TÜV Rheinland confirms that the flowmeter is suitable for environmental monitoring to CEN and MCERTS guidelines. The MT91 uses up to 16 no-moving-parts thermal sensors to measure flow velocity accurately across large pipes and ducts. Specifications include the ability to operate at temperatures up to 450 °C, to measure velocities from 0.08 Nm/s to 46 Nm/s with a turndown ratio of up to 100, and a distance of up to 300 m between the IP66-rated sensor array and the transmitter. Transmitter features include a large LCD display, user-friendly menu, nonvolatile memory for calibration data, and automatic daily diagnostic checks. Applications include monitoring combustion air flows, flue gas recirculation, CEMS stack monitoring, scrubber and precipitator balancing, and industrial HVAC systems.
