The system provides very high containment of less than 1 μg/m3. The powder – drawn by the PTS - enters the dosing unit Dosivalve, which integrates a specially manufactured, pneumatically driven piston. This piston determines the quantity of powder to be dispensed into the drum according to individual needs. The system is modular in design and offers a cost-effective, easily integrable option to conventional conveying, dosing and packing processes. The facility can be flexibly used depending on production requirements. Instead of the DCS Drum Containment System, which allows the opening and closing of the drums/liners through glove ports from the outside, the device can be optionally equipped with a continuous liner pack-off system.

Efficient conveying, precise dosing, closed handling as well as contamination-free filling of drums make it an outstanding system. In terms of hygienic aspects optimized cleaning options (CIP/SIP) offer further advantages. The system is used in the production of pharmaceuticals and chemicals, explosive atmospheres included.
