Irving/Texas – Another contract comes out of the Gulf Coast Petrochemicals Project: After Technip and Zachry were entrusted with the construction of two polyethylene units at Old ocean, Fluor and JGC provide engineering and procurement for an ethylenen cracker at a Chevron Phillips Chemical site at Cedar Bayou, Texas.

“This project represents the first EPC opportunity to be executed by our newly formed association with JGC,” said Peter Oosterveer, president of Fluor’s Energy & Chemicals Group. “The U.S. Gulf Coast continues to play a significant role in the chemicals market and our depth of resources and breadth of experience will create value for our client and support their success throughout the project.”
