Boston, Maschusetts/USA – Component suppliers like flowmeter manufacturers saw a strong order taking in 2010 despite a challenging economical situation, says a recent study by the ARC Advisory Group. Analysts expect future growths during a market recovery in 2011 and 2010, the study says. Especially the energy sector is expected to be a driving force of the flowmeter market.

ARC officials stated that flowmeter suppliers could well benefit from investment and expansion activities, as they have aligned their business goals to capitalize on growing industry segments and geographic regions that could enable them to increase market share. Also the adoption of new technologies like ultrasonic or coriolis measurements with their improved accuracy could help to access additional markets. ARC experts expect a growth of the global flowmeter market by 20 percent until 2015 (compared to 2010).
