A critical component for the high specificity and selectivity of the Elisa testing is the effective binding of the antigens or antibodies to the surface of these microplates. Brand now offers new strip plates for immunological applications that have good optical characteristics and are manufactured according to ANSI/SBS standards.

According to Brand, the plates offer high flexibility as the user can decide on the number of cavities that will be used. To fit different applications the strip plates can be purchased with or without grid in versions with high- or medium-binding capacity. The high binding capacity version ImmunoGrade is well suited for the immobilization of Immunoglobulin G and molecules with both hydrophobic and hydrophilic areas. The non-treated pureGrade, with medium binding capacity, has a more hydrophobic surface. Both versions, with or without grid, consist of 12 strips of eight wells each.
