The new F4T features a 4.3-inch, capacitive color touch panel with high resolution and graphical user interface that provides customized control for even the most demanding applications. It provides intuitive navigation and screen personalization allowing channels, alarms, inputs and outputs to be programmed with user-defined specifications. The new unit is easy to use with capabilities that benefit users in a variety of industries. One significant benefit is its design flexibility. The FT4 is scalable, and offers a wide range of field removable input/output modules.

This allows the unit to be configured for a multitude of applications, while providing easy integration with the required hardware. The new process control unit combines the functionality of multiple devices, including temperature PID, over/under temperature limit, power switching, math, logic, timers and counters, into one integrated system. The F4T lowers ownership costs, reduces design complexity and saves wiring time and panel space. Its new Composer graphical configuration software can connect with the controller via Ethernet.
