PROCESS: The parent event Hannover Messe has been quite successful. What is the scene in India?

MEHUL SHAH: As expected, the industrial shows organised at India Expo Centre, Greater Noida is turning out to be the one of the important event for industry. Since, this is the first time we are organising the event in the Northern part of the country, the response from the exhibitors and visitors have been extremely good.

We have added few more Industry highlights to the show like the first ever summit for Purchase Managers – International Purchase Managers’ Summit India 2012, Live Onsite Forklift Driving and Maintainence workshop, exclusive B2B matchmaking sessions will attract more Key Buyers to the shows. As on date, we have received more than 2,000 Key buyers' confirmations to visit our shows.

Five Business Shows Under One Roof

PROCESS: How many concurrent events do you plan this year?

SHAH: Following our formula of providing all industry solutions under one roof, this year too, we will be organising the five shows i.e. MDA India, Industrial Automation India, Ce-MAT India, Surface Technology India and LASER India concurrently.

The shows form a total package for every industry with wide applications and end to end solutions of factory/industrial automation, hydraulics and pneumatics, electro-mechanical transmission, robotics, laser applications for manufacturing, paints and coatings for surface technology and intralogistics/warehouse management.

Creating Synergies for Exhibitors and Visitors Alike

PROCESS: Is it a good idea to have so many concurrent events?

SHAH: We have always believed in the synergy generated by the presence of all the industrial requirements through our different shows concurrently. This is also unique as the buyer doesn’t have to actually visit five different shows at different locations and time to procure his requirements.

Also, it results in gathering more visitors for the exhibitors to generate more business. This is also our prime reason, to have parallel industry seminar for all types of quality industrial visitors at the shows.
