From Endress + Hauser comes an all–new electromagnetic flowmeter with two-wire technology –the first of its kind – that provides the desired performance and an accuracy of 0.5 percent.

Two-wire technology has been the preferred type of measurement instrumentation for many years in the chemical industry. Arguments for its advantages include cost-effective installation and maximum safety through intrinsic safety. To date, however, not all measuring technology has been available as two-wire technology. The desire for electromagnetic flowmeters with these features has become an increasingly vocal request throughout the past.

Endress + Hauser's new Promag 200 is the first electromagnetic flowmeter with two-wire technology that ensures four-wire performance for standard chemical applications. Hart, Profibus PA and Foundation fieldbus communication variants available increase the flexibility for any measuring point layout. According to the manufacturer, broad implementation is ensured in the design with the connection to a Promag P/H measuring cell and the associated range of materials.
