Certa reduces the time for CIP cycles, thus minimising downtime while offering maximum hygienic properties. All contact parts on the pump are FDA and EC1935/2004 compliant. Providing EHEDG (Type EL Class I) and 3A certification as standard, Certa is one of very few positive displacement pumps on the market to also have achieved EHEDG Type EL Class 1 Aseptic certification.

Therefore, it can be used in aseptic processes and is bacteria tight without requiring additional steam ports. With new models, Certa pumps are available in seven different sizes offering flows from 100 l/h to 99,000 l/h. Compared to less-efficient lobe pumps, as well as twin-screw pumps, Certa offers energetic benefits of up to 50 %.
